Shine Effect
Shine by Trapcode is a wonderful effect that gives the look of light rays shining through something. It is an inexpensive plug in meaning it was meant to work with the effects of higher end graphic design softwares such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and
Avid.
This image was made up of 3 layers. The buddha head and the Aum sign were made in Photoshop. Both were added with the shine effect.You can change teh ray lengths of your shine effect or the position it shine from. Change them over timeto get great effects. See Below.

Some special effects will be harder for your computer to handle than others,
the shine effect is really hard on your system. Viewing your effects can be slow.
How to use shine effect guide.
1. First you must purchase and install the shine effect into your video editing software.
2. Make sure you see it in the list of effects
in your software. There is a register link on the effect.
(register to get out of demo mode, this can be tricky in Vista as you must be an administrator)
3. Drop the effect on a clip or text title. Now you have to manipulate the effects over time.
4. All of the effects are important within the shine effect such as the position of the backlight, the intensity. The colors of the light and the amount it shimmers. They must all be manipulated over time to bring life and movement to the effect. Be playful with this.
