Adobe Premier Pro - Excellent Video Editing Software
Most of my editing is done in this software. Originally I learned on the video editing software Final Cut Pro in Hollywood but migrated to PC's since Final Cut Pro is more for Mac users and PC's were cheaper. It was very easy to switch from one program to the other as both work similarly so basic editing is easy and both programs are very user friendly.
A few years ago home computers were not powerful enough to do simple changes like add a little brightness to your video without waiting for ages to see what it looked like and even then you had to do this time consuming thing called rendering where the computer would change your clip and you would wait for hours. Sometimes hours and hours....sometimes days LOL....... it's true!
Premier Pro allows you to do things you never dreamed possible!

Uhh, Thank God things have changed and computers have got more powerful. Adobe Premier Pro is allows you to change things in real time. This means you can apply special effects and watch them instantly.
Like it's fellow program Photoshop, a software for graphics design everybody has heard of, Premier Pro lets you do things beyond you imagination, things you never dreamed you could do.
Sadly this high end software is extremely over priced and pretty much out of the price range for the home consumer. High end computer games are well priced so I don't understand why Adobe insists you take a mortgage out on your house to pay for their software. Many times it can be just as expensive as your video camera, Yikes, but the truth is if you want to make movies you need a software like this or Vegas or Final Cut Pro.......
Encoding your video for the web is a fine art but Premier Pro makes it easy.
Here are some tips on how to encode video for the web with Adobe Premier Pro since there are so many options!
Exporting Video with Premier Pro

Interlaced versus Progressive
Interlaced creates horizontal lines in your image but the image quality is sharper and clearer.
Progressive causes blurriness but can make the movement smoother taking away any horizontal lines.
